We're not talking about scenes. We're talking about hotbeds as in which are the most talented areas for basketball talent and DMV/NY and Chicago are basically at the very top with Oakland, Detroit, and Philadelphia right behind these three. I do believe NY has the best basketball culture with Chicago right behind them.

what is this "triple double" stuff everybody brings up? some fool brought that up in another thread to argue that oscar robertson was better than Jordan LOL

magic johnson resume:
5 time nba champion
3 time league mvp

vs
1 time nba champion and
1time league mvp for oscar robertson

not to mention Magic played in a much better league, the 60's and 70's nba were a joke.

you must be outta your rabbit ass mind...- Wilt Chamerblin was a joke huh....Bill Russell, George Gervin, Dr. J, Earl Monroe, etc etc... the stars of the 60s and 70s made the stars of the 80s, 90s and the stars of today....in that order. The joke is the players that are in the league today

Oscar Robertson stats:

From 1960-74 Average 25.7 pts - 9.5 ast - 7.5 trb

Magic Johnson
From 1979- 91 95,96 Average 19.5 pts- 11.1 ast- 7.2 trb

I think the spot for #1 is not as clear cut as it seems- I've seen a lot of reports where Magic was voted the best, and "O" was voted the best- hell I've even seen reports where they said Stockton was the best. I guess it goes on different criteria for different folks

wilt chaimberlain played against unathletic ass white guys... who was his competition, other than russell... wilt was soft, he wasn't a beast like Shaq was.. shaq would body lanky ass wilt chaimberlain, easy. wilt is like the babe ruth of the nba, ridiculous stats made possible by playing against sorry ass competition. 60's was full of awful unathletic ass players.. the mid-late 70s started to change that (dr J etc)... lol@ thinkin the players of the 60s n 70s could play with players of the 80s n 90s.. bill russell weighed as much as the average pg/shooting guard LOL

magic johnson is the best point guard ever.

you must not be a day over 15....too much laughin' out loud...LOL at thinkin Shaq is a monster- Hakeem used to do Shaq ass back in the 90s...even D. Rob used to do Shaq. Anyways it's not cut in stone that Magic is the best PG ever but it's good to have an opinion....in that order

like mention hakeem handling shaq is somethin surprising, as if he were some slouch like wilt was... hakeem is my favorite center ever, for many reasons including how he sonned shaq in the finals.
but wtf@ sayin david robinson did anything to shaq... shaq always dominated robinson, mainly because he was soft like wilt was. shaq always played against robinson with a chip on his shoulder... i bet this is your idea of david robinson schooling shaq right:

YouTube - Shaq dunks on David Robinson

or better yet

YouTube - Shaq destroys David Robinson in the post

shaq = most unstoppable force in the nba, ever... once he was on top, nobody could fk with him... 2000-2002 laker dynasty is proof enough of this. anybody denyin shaq's beastliness should watch some sissy sport beach volleyball.
