Well, Boston has the Esplanade along the Charles, which is really nice. There's also Castle Island in South Boston, and some beaches not too far out of the city proper.

Don't forget the harbor islands.

I voted for St. Louis as a joke. With two votes, it's not possible for someone to think St. Louis' river frontage is user friendly. Unless the users are industrial behemoths.

How can Minneapolis be included in this poll, and not Milwaukee? Makes no sense whatsoever.

I was actually wondering why Honolulu wasn't included, and how Chicago was running away with it.

I don't think Chicago is running away with it, but if you've ever been to Chicago you'd see that the lakefront is very user friendly

I'd vote for Baltimore, if I had that option. Miami is pretty good, though.

VA Beach gets my vote. Easy to park, everything from fishing boats, surf lessons, waterside restaurants, 3 miles of beach, hotels, bands, magicians, cycling, skateboarding, jet skiing, pier fishing, surf fishing, boat rentals, para-sailing

Hampton Roads gets my vote because you have 5 medium sized cities in one metro that all have user friendly waterfronts.
