not really i mean yea they putting out artist no doubt but give the city some time before you put them up there with music cities such as memphis/blues cleveland/seattle and especially detroit it hasn't been a decade yet

When I think of cities and their role in music I think nyc memphis cleveland/seattle chicago countless numbers of timeless legends have come from these places and through mississippi in there I know its a state but still

It depends on what type of music you like... In my world, bands out of Portland, Seattle and New York.

honestly that couldnt be further from the truth..no disrespect..we arent talking about personal likes and tastes in music...we are talking about cities that have in some form or fashion shaped music as we know it

The 60's was probably the best era for music and Detroit was the most influential city. Please lets not talk about the 2000's a disgrace to everything that we call muisc.

I think Chicago is one of the most influential cities for their music in this past decade because of Kanye West and their famous house music that never stops.
