if you have spent any time in these cities, which ones feel bigger than they are and which ones feel smaller than they are- considering the city itself and the metro area.

Does the city itself feel small and the metro area big? Or the other way around?

Kansas City(2 million)-

San Antonio(2 million)-

Cleveland(2 million)

Sacramento(2.1million)-

Portland(2.2 million)

Cleveland, imo. It has the east coast grit and neighborhoods that give it a larger feel.

I agree that Cleveland feels the largest of those cities. Sacramento feels a lot smaller to me than it really is.

Cleveland and St. Louis are both around 2 million and feel larger to me. Minneapolis St. Paul is around the same size and also feels larger.

I'd say Cleveland too, but that city, in no way has the east coast grit and neighborhoods.

Kansas City(2 million)-

Metro feels like a metro of 2.5 million.

San Antonio(2 million)-

Metro feels like a metro of about 1.7 million

Cleveland(2 million)

If you include Akron all the way down to Canton, it feels like a metro of 4 million north to south, but about 1.5 million metro if driving from east to west.

Sacramento(2.1million)-

It feels like its size.

Portland(2.2 million)

It feels like its size, maybe slightly smaller at 2 million.
