Default Reno v. Albuquerque

Hi. Deciding between these two cities for retirement. Both have great weather, dry climate, mountain scenery, relaxed pace. Since we will be retired, job search isn't an issue. Any thoughts on which is better for quality of life from people who have been to or lived in both cities? Thanks!

It depends on what you like. Albuquerque is of course the bigger city, and is pretty "outdoorsy". Reno is closer to California and has a lot of entertainment options for a city its size.

i don't see why this is a nightmare decisiion to make They're both very nice cities with a lot to be proud of.

Reno is a bit of dump imo, but it's proximity to tahoe is intriguing.
