Match a neighborhood/district of your city to a neighborhood/district of any other city of your choice. I'll start it off:

ATLANTA and SAN DIEGO:

-Downtown ATL = Downtown SD (CBD's)
-Midtown = Hillcrest (large gay community, cosmopolitan)
-Buckhead = La Jolla or Mission Valley (affluent uptown districts)
-Little Five Points = Pacific Beach (pubs, tattoo parlors, vintage clothing stores)
-Virginia Highland = Ocean Beach (popular for the hippie/hipster crowd)
-Inman Park = Kensington (recently gentrified)
-Southwest Atlanta = Southeast San Diego (ghetto areas recently becoming gentrified)
-Grant Park = Balboa Park (zoo)
-King District = Old Town (historic districts)

ATLANTA and LOS ANGELES:

-Downtown ATL = Downtown LA (no explanation needed)
-Midtown = Century City (2nd largest CBD's, separate skylines)
-Buckhead = Hollywood (nightlife and entertainment, celebraties)
-Little Five Points = Venice Beach (alternative crowd)
-Grant Park = Griffith Park (zoo)
-East Atlanta = Eastside Los Angeles (gentrified)

ATLANTA and TOKYO:

-Downtown ATL = Chiyoda-ku (CBD's, corporate HQ's, government centers)
-Midtown = Shinjuku (skyline, gay community, large park, luxury hotels)
-Buckhead = Roppongi (upscale community, nightlife/entertainment)
-Little Five Points = Shibuya (trendy, youthful crowd)
-Virginia Highland = Harajuku (many clothing stores)
-Grant Park = Ueno (zoos)
-King District = Asakusa (historic districts)
-Atlantic Station = Ikebukuro (shopping district, mixed-use development)

I would match DC's Adams Morgan area to San Francisco's Haight Ashbury.
