I love Florida's weather in the winter, I just can't take the summer heat lol. NJ heat is bad enough.

Florida's winters are similar to Fall and Spring in NJ - or at least May, Jun and Sept, Oct

Florida, I like NJ too, but i love the FL life style, the weather, the things to do, etc. and there are plenty of great areas to live in.

So you enjoy 100F heat index + 90% humidity for 6 months?
And thunderstorms, lightnings etc.

My two favorite states, I knew it would come to this someday lol.

I have to pick Florida, they are so close IMO but the weather gave Florida the edge, New Jersey has hot Summers too (which I love) but I'm not a Winter person.

yup, i would pick a 90F weather with high humidity for a few months (more like 4). than the harsh winters of the north. The summer weather here doesnt even bother me that much, i guess I'm just a FL guy

New Jersey, mainly for the cooler climate and I prefer the Northeastern States.

New Jersey easily on all counts. New Jersey is just a far superior state than Florida. You have all the attractions of New Jersey and in addition it is next to Philadelphia and New York City. Florida just can not compete with that, especially when you add New Jersey's great weather.

Florida easily on all counts. Florida is just a far superior state than New Jersey. You have all the attractions of Orlando, Tampa and Miami which offer significantly more than Newark and Atlantic City and in addition Florida has the best sports in the country, is the gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean, has new and modern infrastructure and a much lower cost of living. New Jersey just can not compete with that, especially when you add Florida's awesome weather.
