Default What's the snobbiest, most "Fashionist",and/or most "Yuppified" city in America?

This thread here is for all us blue collar types, working class, "change-our-own-oil-and-prefer-a-cold-beer-and-a-UFC-match-over-Sex-And-The-City-and-a-cosmo" type of people

What is the most Yuppified, most Fashion-Victimed out, and snobiest city in America? As in, where the most people look at you through their nostrels? As in a big chunk of the city's inhabitants refuse to go down to get their mail without a Prada or Chanel outfit on, and change clothes again for a day's "work", and change clothes a third time for drinks and a fourth time for dinner.
As in, full of Yuppies with names like "Nathaniel" and "Patricia" who walk like they have potato chips in between their butt cheeks that they are trying not to break and play raquet ball on Tuesdays "evenings" and have kids who spend more time with the nanny then they do?

I vote New York...even allot of people their who don't have money pretend to have money and still walk around with their noses held up at "poor people" who don't have $5,000 coats on. It is one of the fashion capitals of the world, so you get a ton of those fashion-victims types...not to mention all the Yuppies who work on wall street and no doubt have affairs with underage prostitutes in Third World Countries.

BUT, I am bias, because I have never been to LA and I hear that that's alott worse then NYC.

PLEASE NOTE: I am not saying any office worker is a Yuppie. We all know that Yuppie mindset is allot different then that of your standard office worker. Nor am I saying everyone in NYC is a Yuppie or a fashion victim, just saying that there are allot more of those types in NYC in proportion to the general population then there are in other cities I have been to.

So you mean which city is the nicest? LOL (I would never drink beer, or watch a 'fight')
It would be an even tie between New York and the nicer areas of Chicago for me......

Manhattan has its snooty parts, but NYC has too much of a blue-collar feel to be the most "yuppified" to me, despite being ridiculously expensive. There are many NYCers who are quite wealthy but intentionally grunge themselves up and do so because it's "fashionable," so I wouuldn't put the city at the top.

Sounds like the hills wins this one.
