wow those pics of downtown Dallas make it look so small. In person when you are approaching the city and have a full view of uptown and downtown built up together its pretty impressive.
It sure is!
Not nearly as tall as LA, but easily twice as long because of Uptown connecting with Downtown.
I'm not here to get involved in your building height pissing contest.
I have my own opinion about how I personally felt when I visited Los Angeles, and my experience reminded me of my stay in NYC, the hotel room, the subway ride, etc, the experience in general of being in a big city with lots of people.
Seeing as this is what I pulled up as the definition of 'skyline'
1. The line along which the surface of the earth and the sky appear to meet; the horizon.
2. The outline of a group of buildings or a mountain range seen against the sky.
It is a total no-brainer....LA all the way. To minimize or dismiss the mountains and topography of LA as not contributing to the skyline doesn't make sense. It's not a building comparison, it's a skyline comparison, and in this comparison, LA is hugely more appealing as a whole. I do like that 'lollipop' building though
