Default Thin crust pizzas: Chicago versus New York

Let's compare Chicago thin crust pizza versus New york pizza. People are always comparing chicago pizza aka deep dish versus new york pizza, and although deep dish is unique to chicago I don't think it defines Chicago pizza. Not only that it comes down to whether or not you like thin crust or deep dish which is like comparing apples to oranges. How about just thin crust pizzas?

I choose New York's thin crust, I prefer New York's thin crust over regular New York pizza.

new york, i like it doughy like my bagels...also you can't be the bigger foldable vs. the usual square. Both easily better than "california" style out here leave the bean sprouts, egg and bbq sauce off please.

a good thread might be chicago mostaciolli vs. ny/nj ziti.

I don't care what kind it is really, but I'm all about thin crust.

As much as Chicago is assoicated with Deep Dish, I really never see anyone in the city actually eat it on any regular basis. Strangely it seems it's almost always tourists who want to get the stuff, not locals. The only time I'm around it is when I have people in town and they're babbling about getting deep dish.

There are some really good places to get thin crust around Chicago. I'll basically eat anything except Dominoes or Pizza Hut. They're so bland with their crust...

I voted for NYC, but both have great thin crust pizza. In my opinion, the two best cities for pizza in the U.S.
