Philly is up there. Just not shown. Pittsburgh is 66% because out of every 3 residents in the city - 2 out of 3 like the Steelers.

I'm betting Philly is almost the same amount (just not listed)

I don't know how St. Louis was left off this list for the Cardinals. We have attendance over 3M every season this decade in a metro area of 2.8M. I need a recount!

Buffalo runs on sports. What else is there to do when you are stuck in your house due to blizzards and snow? Watch hockey and football!!!!

I am skeptical of this survey. We always hear about Philadelphia's fans and look how far down on the list Philly is. And what's up with New York? Sixth from the bottom. No way.

Certainly Chicago. Detroit and much of Michigan love their teams too.

Phoenix has lots of avid sports fans too because so many new people have moved there from cities like Chicago and Detroit.

It's more a list of cities whose citizens stay true to their own city's teams. Chicago is a mish-mash of Bears, Packers, Colts, Wildcats, Badgers, Illini, Cubs, White Sox, Red Sox, Cardinals, and yes...I said Red Sox.
