Basically cities where people care a lot about where you went to college and what you do for a living as compared to who you really are as a person. GO!
Definitely Washington DC. You know the "liberal elites" all the crazy right wing pundits talk about? They exaggerate, but if you've lived in Washington DC you know they definitely exist.

I thought Liberal meant caring a lot for others and stuff but please elaborate.
NYC has way more elites than any other city so I'm going with NY.
Washington DC only seems status in "schools", but other than that, DC is very conservative. It's nowhere near NYC (most noticeably Manhattan, Greenwich, etc) display of excess schools, labels, homes, net worth, cars, jets, helicopters, social scenes and what schools your kids go to.
A Rolls Royce would stick out like a sore thumb in Washington DC, in NYC hardly anyone would look twice.
Status in LA seems to revolve too heavily around cars and the Hollywood scene. Nobody in LA cares about college, LOL. LA status is more vapid and not smug snobbery of NY/CT/DC. If college and job is part of the equation I'd put Washington at #2. Then the Bay Area after Washington.

I see luxury cars ALL THE TIME in D.C. what are you talking about.
Go to K street on friday or saturday night and its likely you'll see a lambo or ferrari among other luxury sports cars. Plus I see Porshe cars and trucks damn near everyday. D.C. may not be like Miami, but you can't sleep on the city. Also housing is expensive in D.C. and rich parts like Georgetown and Spring Valley have homes that range from 3 million to 20 million+ and I'm not gonna even include rich suburbs like Potomac and Great Falls and Mclean. I don't feel the need to write an esay defending D.C. but you ought to think before you type such non sense.

Ferrari and Lamborghini are NOT popular in DC. I see them sometimes, but they're not common...especially compared to the NYC Metro. I see just as many Lamborghinis in Houston as I do DC. Porsche? Every other car on Long Island is a Porsche, especially that SUV (or a MB, BMW, Audi or Range Rover)..they're not special or rare.
And Rolls Royces and Maybachs are very common in Manhattan. I rarely see them in Washington. I've actually never seen a Maybach in Washington...I saw about 5 on a single day in Manhattan.
According to Rolls Royce, their top markets are Beverly Hills, Manhattan, Greenwich, Palm Beach, Hong Kong, London and Dubai...not Washington.
The Southern California urban blob, Denver to a different/lesser extent.
