I don't care about percentage. If a city with 200,000 people and gains 20%ever year, that's a gain of a pretty small number, so them becoming the largest city is never going to happen. But if a city with 8 million is gaining 200,000 people every year, they're going to remain the largest. Percentages can be used for crime, but for population it just doesn't work.

A city's growth rate is measured by its percentage of increase (or decrease), not by its numerical difference.

I realize that, which is why I said we're gaining population faster than any other American city.

Ft. Worth is the fastest growing city in America, but is it ever going to pass NYC if NYC is gaining more population? Hell no.

No, I understand completely. It seems as though you're the one who doesn't understand. What I'm saying is that NYC's gaining more population than any other city in America, therefore it will remain the largest city.
