Daly City, which borders SF to the south is over 50% Asian, mostly Filipino (about 35,000 Filipino people, so that would make Daly city roughly 35% filipino). SF it's self has 40,000 or so Filipino people.
Daly City and the rest of the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Jersey City, Las Vegas, Virginia Beach, Seattle.
I'm half Filipino and I grew up in a small town with a military base near Memphis. There has always been a noticeable Filipino presence. You can ask most of the locals and they can tell you a thing or two about Filipinos, and about Filipino food. We even have a Filipino restaurant.
Well, being a Filipino American myself, I'm going to buck the trend and not say Los Angeles. Despite the fact that there is an extremely large number of us there, we don't actually make an extremely large percentage of the population outside of Carson, North Long Beach, Eagle Rock, Panorama City, and Northridge (easiest way to gauge a Filipino population is by counting the Seafood City and Goldilocks restaurants there are in an area). Even in those areas, we only make up 20-25% of the population, with Mexicans outnumbering us. That being said, there are enough Filipinos spread throughout the metropolitan area that we make a noticeable impact.
If I had to say the most culturally influenced place would be Hawaii. Filipinos are the 3rd largest ancestry there after Japanese and Native Hawaiian.
On the mainland, I would agree that generally agree that its going to be California. More so the Bay Area than Los Angeles, but most Californians know and can distinguish Filipinos from other ethnicities unlike when I travel out of state and get asked "what kind of Chinese are you?". For some reason, amongst my group of Asian American friends, the Bay Area seems to be some sort of cultural mecca moreso than Los Angeles.
