Public transportation in Atlanta can (and will (http://www.cfpt.org/pages/wctv - broken link)), get better. However, to call the public transportation network in Atlanta inadequate for the population it serves is nonsense.

To help you out, you should give an example of how MARTA does not work correctly.
LOOK AT THE NUMBER OF RIDERS PER DAY.

Do you understand that for the 40th time or do I need to repeat myself again?

Umm, we're talking about people who don't use transit here. Use some flippin common sense. It's bad when the flippin' New Orleanian has more than the mighty New Yorker .

Hahaha! Good point. But I will add if you a draw a line from Boston on down to Washington D.C. that's the true scope of Northeaster/Mid-Atlantic sprawl

Ummmmmm. Probably because your standards for transit are lower than mine.

Everyone that I know who has moved to Atlanta has complained about their transit. MARTA IS AWFUL!!!

Honestly, it doesn't matter if I have never stepped foot in Atlanta. Anyone can tell from the number of stations and number of riders per day that their transit sucks.

I'm still waiting for you to make an argument based on reason and not inflamed passion for "whatever" you're arguing.

Not to mention the sprawl in northern cities outside of NY tend to be less dense and tackier than the sprawl in southern cities.
