Ran a search and didn't see a Nashville/Louisville skyline thread which suprises me because the two are very comparable.

So, which do you prefer? It's hard fro me to choose. By day, I like Nashville but Louisville's skyline looks better at night I think. More color. I guess all in all I have to pick Nashville though.

Sorry I dont have any Louisville pics to post but I spend MUCH more time in Nashville than I do in Louisville. Maybe someone can post some? I have two links for Louisville pics.

Pics: (Note to mods: I took all of the Nashville pics)

Good comparison. Two river cities with two recently stalled/canceled projects (Nashville: Signature Tower, Louisville: Museum Plaza). Their tallest towers are pretty distinct (Nashville: AT&T, Louisville: Aegon) and they both have nice density at the ground level.

I think I'll go with Nashville on this one, but Louisville's isn't bad either.

Nashville, but not by much. Both are VERY close/similar but i think Nashville's architecture wins me over.

Agreed, i think Nashville wins in terms of Skyline, but it is very close. Two great downtowns, had a blast in each.

Yeah they do seem very similar.

Here are a few of my favorite photos of Nashville's skyline:

i'll go w/ louisville. beautiful skyline. symmetry is good in the central business districts from all approaches to the city. love the german and french influences in this city. i could live there very easily. i really am partial to the view of the city w/ the river bridge and river in the foreground. really nice. we should hear and see more of louisville.

It's honestly pretty close. The only reason I chose Louisville was because the AT&T Building's "horns" look terrible to me.
