I know there have been a few topics on ghettos on this site of which is worse dealing with crimes and what not.. but i was curious to hear opinions on what many believe are the worst ghettos visually or to the human eye? Meaning what cities in the states of America "look" the worst?

Pics can be included as well to defend your case...

thanks

Agreed. I think that the slums in most East Coast and Rust Belt cities would look the worst due to their age. Weather also has a big part. You look at a ghetto in LA or San Diego and it will stay in much better shape with nice weather all year than a house that takes a beating with rain and snow.

Maybe in San Diego, but there are many ghettos in Los Angeles that look just as nasty as what I've seen in the Midwest and Philadelphia.

I was half-joking, but what they consider ghetto by San Diego standards is nothing compared to the ones in cities like Detroit, Chicago, Philly, Camden, New Orleans, etc.
