I was inspired by MikeG2011's thread comparing the larger cities, but there are smaller cities that have a nice combination of city/natural skylines as well. Which do you think does it best?

OK, I kinda screwed up on the title here, but I hope this thread/poll doesn't get overlooked. I think it's a good one.

I'm a little biased towards the Springs but I think I'll go for the underdog: Anchorage. Those mountains are pretty impressive nonetheless.

Plus on a really clear day in Anchorage, you can see Denali (Mt McKinley) which is something like 150 miles away. I've only seen it one time from Anchorage but it is pretty mind-blowing when you consider the distance.

On the other hand while it does have some height I'm not really wowed by ANC's skyline.

Out of the pictures you posted, I like Albuquerque's skyline/ landscape the most. If I could see Anchorage's, then I'd probably vote for that.

Also, a pretty interesting version of one of my threads. Good job.

I am sorry but the Springs is sorry for a msa of 600,000 people.

Of these choices I go with Anchorage as well.

I like Anchorage's, but I'm impressed with Asheville's partly because the city only has about 80-90,000 people in it.

Hey, where's Syracuse, BTW?
