That is so hard to answer, I don't even know where to start. Well, for one, you're comparing cities that are seperated by thousands of miles ( with the exeption of London and Paris ) and in some cases, thousands of years in history (London is WAYYY older than NYC ).

I guess it depends on what a person likes. All of these cities will give you a little something of the same, but yet are vastly unique.

Tough call, New York is my home but there is no way I could pass Paris, home away from home and the most interesting European city.

Impossible to answer - one might as well have the debate about God vs. Mike Ditka.

I will say this, however - most American visitors to Tokyo will be overwhelmed, confused and usually dissapointed on the first trip. Of the world's major cities, it is perhaps the most unintentionally insular.

Note the age of the op's post, folks (nearly a year). We're not comparing North American cities to cities in Europe and the Asias anymore because there are too many variables that can't be correctly compared. See the room sticky, please. thanks.
