Independent all the way. Hell, I used to live next door to a Domino's pizza place, and I still never went there.
As for the person who prefers Pizza Hut to a decently made NYC style pizza, you clearly haven't been to the right place in New York. Hell, I'm a Chicagoan who prefers the local thin crust to the New York style thin crust but would happily eat a pizza at a great place like Lombardi's or Grimaldi's in NYC (yeah, I know they are tourist joints, but they are good tourist joints) any day over that dreck they serve at Pizza Hut.
Are we thinking the same Grimaldi's? They are gooood!
Hey it's his/her opinion. I've known people that tell me the Big Mac is the best burger they've ever had and it drives me completely nuts but they still hold on to their thought and I can't change that.
This video made me LOL. Back in 2007, I actually ate at a Villa Pizza in Times Square. It was definitely not my first choice of restaurants, but my friend who lives in NYC wanted to go there. He also dragged me to a Burger King and a Chipotle during the course of my trip.
I guess when you actually live there, the novelty of having every cuisine in the world at your finger tips can get old and sometimes you just want a crappy $1 cheeseburger.
