right. i believe you.

since you want to talk about rock, however:

CBGB Online - Home of Underground Rock

i don't think that you want to bring rock up anymore.
Seriously, other than Lady Gaga (whom I couldn't care less about) and Beastie Boys (whom I was never really interested in) I have seriously never heard of any of those people. Perhaps we just have different tastes.

But I will say this: One of the rock world's best and most recognizable modern singer/screamer is from the Denver area. Ivan Moody, aka Ghost, played with Motogrator and Five Finger Death Punch. The Fray, now one of the most popular rock bands in the nation whom took the radios by storm 4 years ago, are from Denver. 3OH!3...well I hope I don't have to explain that one if you know anything about our area codes. The Flobots and Single File are also from Denver.

I know and I was using LA to prove my point.

Sure NYC has a better Music and film industry but that is no reason to live in a town unless you are in the industry.

As far as shows Denver has great venues from the Pepsi Center to Fiddlers green and red Rocks among many smaller ones.

No one's mind is going to be changed one way or the other - boasting gets just as tiring as bashing. We all love to boast, but there's a limit - why go on and on and on?
