Expensive maybe, but high crime rate? Someone is behind on the times! New York was actually confirmed one of the safest cities to live in and crime rate has went DOWN.
I am completly mystified as to why people in Denver truly believe that Denver has everything NY does on a smaller scale. Is this lack of education? Is it provincialtiy? Bias? I just dont get it. at all. Do you think ny is as expensive as it is just BECAUSE? Its a supply and demand economics basic. This is akin to arguing about facts, such as what my name is or that the sky is blue, then coming back and saying its a matter of opinion. The poll asked if denver could compete with NYC, not whether it is a worthy city. Denver is great, its a great city, but jesus it is not on the same level with NY. Nobody is. Maybe London. You think Denver can comepte with paris and london and tokyo as well? ANYBODY WHO BELIEVES DENVER COMPETES AT THIS LEVEL IS EMBARASSING THEIR REASONING SKILLS. What's next, a poll about whether one dude can take on the US military? Wow...

I'm with you. What I think it is, the people from Denver knows that Denver cannot compete with NYC. However, they do not want accept that NYC is better than Denver in all aspects.

In your opinion.....
You should really visit Denver before you make such funny and untrue judgements

Hahaha. In all aspects lol. Can you climb a 14,000 feet mountain anywhere near NYC???
An expensive and high-crime city with all the world-renown venues.
OR
A somewhat cheaper, cleaner, less dangerous and more fit city with all the venues at a smaller scale (with the exception of the mountain/outdoors scene).
How do you figure high crime. Maybe check the facts before you post. New York rank 138 out of 393, Denver 227 out of 393. Number one safest thru 393 most crime prone. I don't understand why people call New York a high crime city. The stats are clear.

Well either way, it would seem Denver is quite a bit safer than New York.

How do you figure? Denver ranks higher as in more crime per capita. Please explain.
