If the 181 murders in Houston came the Bayou Body Count website it's not accurate. They count car accident deaths, suicides, drownings etc... I believe if someone were struck by lightning, they would probably count that too.

As of July 31, Ciudad Juarez is at 1,700 murders for the year. They are now averaging 8 per day and are on pace to reach over 3,000 for the year.

I came across a real shocking stat just now as well. In the past 18 day period from July 16 to August 2, Mexico had 3,174 homicides.

Nice Try I know how to read, with that being said Houston doesn't release info that much so the number can be bigger or smaller, plus I'm not checking for dupes, since they make it impossible by not including offense numbers.

I'm glad that we're winning the war on drugs. I'd hate to see what losing looks like.

Well Austin is one the largest around 100,000+.

But Greater Grand Crossing that had 60 over two years is a community with 38,000 people. But some areas like Humboldt Park are more densely populated. It's a community of 300,000 some people in 3.6 sq miles. About 85,000 people per square mile. But yea, a couple of the communities with high homicides have 30-50,000 people total.

Didn't imply anything about reading skills. I was just saying that site counts everything under the sun.
