Ive seen the poll regarding the most liberal US cities, lets hear about the conservative ones. Try and keep the populations from 300K or so and up.

The City of Dallas nor the City of Houston should NOT be mentioned in this thread. Both the municipalities are moderate at best slightly leaning towards the left but getting more liberal. Both never had a republican mayor. Both have gay and lesbian leaders in their governments. Neither city is as conservative as Jacksonville, OKC, San Diego, or Phoenix.

Don't forget other minorities! Women and people of color. Sometimes both, all in one!

The majority of San Diego's city council are Democrats. Though, considering how liberal most big cities are, that could still put it among the most conservative.

Indianapolis is conservative? DAMN! I thought only Cincinnati was the conservative city in the Midwest. St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, and Columbus are definitely blue cities I would say.

Chicago is definitely blue, but most of the suburbs are red, surprisingly. Er, at least DuPage County is.
