Tucson, Arizona

Neighborhood-4/10 Prince Tucson. Inner city "good" pocket neighborhood on the North Central side of Mid Town

City-6.5/10 Tucson. not overtly dangerous, not overtly safe. Tucson has an above average crime rate, if 5=Average 6.5=Tucson.

Metro-5/10 Tucson MSA. Northern Suburbs are new, nice and quiet. South Tucson is a fun hispanic community with some serious crime issues. Southern Suburbs are nice but generic and hit hard by recession foreclosures.

County-6/10 Pima County. A county on a porous border with a heavy amount of drug trafficking and organized crime. Luckily crime here tends to be organized and thus not random.

State-3/10 Arizona. Might sound dangerous in the news due to the hysteria our Politicians create constantly however in my 20 years here I have never really been affected by crime beyond petty theft, those who are involved in crime tend to be victims of crime. Most of Arizona is also desolate and remote considering the large amount of the state not populated. That is not to say that Arizona doesn't have its problems because it really does.
