^^^Nicely put!

I might add Miami to the list of cities that are most hated. Miami seems to be everyones punching bag on CD.

I hate all those cities except LA. And my town is doing just fine thanks.

I'm a little shocked by the hate of Chicagoans toward Houston; especially when in reality these two cities seem to have a good relationship and connection with each other.

New Orleans? Really? That's surprising to me.
Houston has taken a HUGE number of oil/gas/energy jobs and industry from New Orleans. Yet, I so rarely hear them trash-talking Houston for it or complaining. Instead they are very gracious and just seem to roll with the punches. Some of the nicest people in the world there IMO.

Yeah we know, yet you can never logically explain why. The negatives a few of these places have are also prevalent in at least one of your liked places, and the positives in some of your liked places are also prevalent in the disliked places... as we have explained to you and demonstrated here, ad nauseam. At that point, people begin to assume there is some other reason that is more illogical or some kind of personal bias/stereotypes/politics.

I think the way Houston graciously excepted so many evacuees after Katrina has something to do with it. At least, from Louisianians I've talked, they seem to have a lot respect for Houston after Katrina.

Well true, but even prior to that.
Honestly I think it has a lot to do with the culture there of graciousness and Southern hospitality. For the natives at least. Great people.
