Hampton Roads is the best of the two in my opinion, and these photos are only a snippet of the region's beauty.

I love the Tampa Bay area which consist of two other major areas in Clearwater and St. Petersburg, which are great vacationing and well-known and beautiful retirement cities on the Gulf Coast of Florida.
Downtown Tampa has a beautiful skyline and the city has many events which the Gasparilla Festival is one of the more popular.

What are you saying?
Hampton Roads' has beautiful skylines and has many events too such as HarborFest which draws 250,000+ East Coast Surfing Championship, AFRAM, etc..... I don't get your point. If you guys knew more about Hampton Roads and the seven cities and which each city has to offer you wouldn't always put us down.

I understand that perfectly. I was questioning your reasoning. I bet you've never even been to Hampton Roads.

Hampton Roads is probably more "southern" than Tampa, but it's also closer to NY, so that's why I chose it. It also has 4 seasons.

Maybe not to some people in the south, but when you're from up north, yes, it is southern.
