Similarities and differences? Pros and cons? Best for those in the early 20s? I know Charleston vs. Savannah has been done to death...I included it more to compare it to Mobile.

All three have similar histories, but Charleston and Savannah retain many more physical representations of their history, have better downtowns, and have much larger tourism industries. All three have growing ports. IMO, Charleston and Savannah are better for someone in his/her early 20's.

I would prefer Savannah over Charleston and Georgia over South Carolina overall, although both are beautiful cities/states. Ironically, I prefer Alabama over both Georgia and South Carolina, but Mobile is visually inferior to Savannah and Charleston, in my opinion.

From someone who was born in Mobile, lived in Savannah for most of their life and has frequently visited Charleston...
Savannah or Charleston would be better for someone in their early 20s. (I'm also in my early, well, mid 20's so I can tell you) Mobile is a nice city, but doesn't have as nearly a vibrant downtown as either Savannah or Chucktown. Mobile is closer to some really great beaches though. (Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Pensacola Beach, etc.) I'm partial to the Gulf compared to the Atlantic north of Fort Lauderdale.
