Nobody does slang like DC. The whole DMV is a slang haven.
Redd,
I don't know if "Carry" is exclusively Bmores. DC people used to say it back in the mid 80's. "You trying to carry me." or "I carried the sh&t out of slim." Then Baltimore's Mrs Tony made that club song "How u gonna carry it."

Whole Time = Duration - I was waiting for her to drop by but whole time she was fakin on me
Hop On = Follower - All you bmore cats are NYC hop ons
Munish = Punish x 10 - If you look at me again, I'm going to munish your a$$
L = Can't do something - Imma have to take an L on that party
Stepped Back = Sent back to Prison - The judge stepped me back
Gump = Homosexual or Soft - You can be a gump a$$ dude at times
Go Mode = Ready for whatever - I'm in Go mode if anybody says anything wrong to me
Clappas = Much Booty - Shortie right there got some clappas
Snappas = No Booty - Look at that girl with the snappas
Rough = To Take Something - Im bout to rough this youngin for his bike

lmao@ "flu games = air jordans XII"
not only is that not synonymous with the shoe, it didnt start in DC. it started in the marketing department at Jordan Brand, as it refers to a specific shoe, the red and black with the sick face on the side.
sorry.
I didn't say it started in DC homey! That's just what they call them in DC. And the flu game is a reference to the 1997 Game 5 Finals in Utah when Jordan (wore the twelves) and had the flu but still carried Utah. Plus if you call House of Hoops or anything other sneaker store and ask for the "Flu Games" they will know what you are talking about. Do a lil bit of research before you RESPOND next time.

^THOSE are the "flu games," they were special editions of the Jordan XII released in 2009 to commemorate Jordan's 38 pt performance (with the flu) against the Jazz in '97.
what's funny is that that link YOU posted it is specifically referring to those nubuck 12's as the "flu games" and even points out what the other Jordan 12's are known as. such as:
"the rising sun" 12's:
these Jordan 12's are known as the taxis:
and this version of the jordan XII is known as the "bred 12's":
Memphis, Atlanta, Texas (Houston and Dallas) and Southern Louisiana (NO, BR) have funny "urban" slang. Memphis and Texas urban slang is funny with how much of a country twist they put to it.
