The problem with comparing cities of this size is that most people outside of each city doesn't really know what is going on there. I know a little about activity in Winston-Salem because I grew up there and my family still lives there, but otherwise I probably wouldn't have a clue about it.

There just isn't a lot of media about what's going on in Lexington outside of the state of Kentucky, and the same goes for most cities of that size. They only get a limited amount of attention.

There you go again Chris saying stereotypical put downs about Little Rock. Your credibility continues to fall everytime you say something like.

Chattanooga, Hunstville, Greenville, Augusta, Lexington, Savannah, Winston-Salem, Greensboro.
What, no love for Jackson?

What is stereotypical or un-credible about that? Little Rock's biggest event is Riverfest, which is usually highlighted by either a Willie Nelson or a Mearle Haggard concert, along with 70s southern rock bands. You won't see big-name stars other than country stars stop in Little Rock, except for perhaps Evanescence but that is because they are from there.

What is stereotypical that you give the impression that Little Rock does have any other performers other than Nelson, Haggard and 70s southern rock bands pull into town. You are becoming increasingly un-credible when you make this kind of statement. You don't include other concerts Little Rock hosts. We have enjoyed Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Ringo Starr, The Eagles, Dave Matthews Band, KISS, Chicago, American Idol, Cher, Robin Williams, and Seinfeld but could name more. We have had the pleasure of hearing jazz greats like Benny Goodman and Count Basie. Venues include Verizon Arena, Robinson Center Music Hall, Clinton Presidential Center, Wildwood Center for the Performing Arts, War Memorial Stadium, and Dickey Stephens Ball Park. You are are going to be seen as an unreliable source when you continue to say your anti Little Rock posts.
