I'm sure there are plenty of racists in Alabama...but keep in mind that this is 2009, not 1965. A lot has changed in the 45 years since the church bombing - so give Alabama a break.

Well, of course you can...but I'm pretty sure that wasn't the implication in the post I responded to earlier.

New Jersey. Apart from six flags theres nothing to do. All mining country in southern New Jersey and in Norther New Jersey there are all the poorest cities in the U.S.

Okay...I thought Atlantic City was in New Jersey. It was the last time I was there.

As far as poverty...New Jersey has the 2nd highest per-capita income and the highest median income in the nation, so it can't be all that poor of a state. Nine of the states counties are among the 100 wealthiest in the U.S.
