There's another one nearby that one in Wood-Ridge called Basile's. Basile's has phenomenal slices with such a wide selection

LOL ok.... Well NY Pizza is so great that they have named stores in the other states with the "NY" name to attract their customers. For example in Va Beach they have named a store NY Pizza. I went there and it does not taste like a NY Pizza at all.
I love "typical" NY Pizza, everywhere tastes different and I like that so those who claim to hate it should try a few (not all typical NY pizza tastes the same).
I love deep dish (as long as there's no chunks in it).
I love thin crust

Sbarro is not a real Pizza restaurant. It is a franchise. Sbarro is like Pizza Hut. That is why you got to try the local stores which serves real NY Pizza
It really depends on my mood...if I want pizza and I'm looking for something a bit lighter, New York is the way to go. But if I want pizza and I'm looking for something heavier, Chicago is the way to go. Either way, both cities know great pizza and no other city in America can rival New York and Chicago when it comes to pizza.

I think most people only think of Chicago deep dish when they think of Chicago pizza. Most people eat the thin crust here. It's better than most of the deep dish pizzas you'll find.
^ yeah, Chicago might be known for deep dish, but out on the streets a pretty large majority of the pizza eaten in the city is hand tossed or thin crust.
Almost everyone I know likes thin crust.
I just looked on yelp, and there are almost 850 small pizza joints in Chicago, and almost 2,800 places in the city that serve pizza (restaurants, bars, etc). My immediate neighborhood has 46! No wonder I always end up with a huge piece of pizza hanging out of my mouth when I get drunk.

Chicago pizza isn't deepdish pizza. For whatever reason, that's the pizza people associate with Chicago. All of two restaurants actually made deep dish as a matter of course. As a native Chicagoan, the pizza I remember was very flat and thin in the crust. I couldn't eat deep dish
I prefer NYC, however.
