Tallest building in NJ that is outside the city (Jersey City ) with the tallest building is.... Newark? Surprise! It is the Harrah's Waterfront Tower in Atlantic City, at 525 ft. Here is a picture from Emporis.com:
The Williams Tower, formerly the Transco Tower (901ft and 64 stories), about 10 miles outside of downtown Houston outside the 610 loop. Built back in 1983 it's still a beautiful structure with a nice fountain at it's base.
That's still very much in the City of Houston & its not 10 miles outside of downtown, its about 7 miles.
The tallest building outside of Houston is the Bank of America Plaza in Dallas at 921 ft.
Houston has 4 of the tallest buildings in the state.
Aflac maybe the tallest office tower, though not the tallest building.
That was surprising, because I thought the tallest building in Savannah was 2 East Bryan Street. Also, I was thinking Augusta had the tallest building in GA outside the Metro Atlanta area.
