For those who know it, does Shaker Heights, OH fall into this category? My wife is from there and it seems to fit pretty closely.

True and I would add East English Village, Indian Village and Palmer Woods in the city of Detroit.

Winton Woods area in Cincinnati, Mount Airy and Wynnewood in Philly; Country Club Hills, Olympia Fields and Hazel Crest, among others in the Chicago area; Bedford Heights outside of Cleveland, Bloomfield outside of Hartford CT.......

Most definately.

Shaker Heights is one of the nicest suburbs out there, and it probably meets all the criteria mentioned.
