This also spills over into adjacent/nearby census tracts and/or census block groups in University Heights, South Euclid, Euclid and Richmond Heights, with such areas in nearby Shaker Heights. So, there appears to be a middle class, predominantly Black concentration of about 30,000 people or so in a portion of the eastern suburbs of Cleveland. Schools may vary in quality though. Appears that there is a Jewish presence in or near these suburbs as well.

Cleveland Heights is about 41.51% Black out of 45,657 and has a median household income of $53,155($49,551 for the Cleveland metro; $48,849 for Ohio and $53,482 nationally all based upon 2010-2014 census information)

It is south of Newark's Weequahic neighborhood and west of Elizabeth, with about 6200 people. Hillside's overall crime rate is about average in general and it is a city of 21,000 that is 58% Black and its overall median household income is about 6 k under the NYC metro figure. Schools may be an issue though.

Its overall Black median household income is about 7-8k under the state and metro figures though.

It appears that parts of Springdale and even North College Hill have similar census block groups as well.
This is in that general area: Cincinnati Black Theatre Company

This appears to be a popular restaurant in the College Hill neighborhood: Rasheedah

FWIW LA still does have a swath that is still about 50% black or more. Basically the west side of Compton, North Carson, North Gardena. Southern South LA, North Inglewood, Crenshaw, etc. It's pretty much contiguous, but only a few miles wide. It probably has over 600,000 people in maybe 60 square miles.
May be a sleeper in terms of Black percentage and median household income. Census tract 533404 has a median household income of $93,136 and is 72.58% Black out of 6,416 people and census tract 543321 has a median household income of $90,264 and is 56.26% black out of 5,581 people(both 2010-2014 info). There is another tract in that area that is 69.57% Black out of 6,392 people and has a median household income that is about 6-7k over the LA metro figure.

It appears that East Inglewood(east of the Forum and around the Park Cemetary) that are over 50% Black and have median household incomes that are around the Los Angeles metro figure, give or take.
Chicago: Hyde Park (long an integrated haven for prosperous African Americans) South Kenwood (where Pres. Obama lives)
Philaldelphia: Mt. Airy (beautiful homes, prosperous professionals)
NYC: Ft. Greene, Clinton Hill (Brooklyn neighborhoods that I'd call demographic twins to Hyde Park/Kenwood)
NJ: Maplewood, Teaneck, maybe Montclair (a very cool place, but last I knew Montclair was only about 1/3 black and many of those folks are not affluent)
While not affluent, southern Montclair does have a census tract(017200) that is 57-58% Black out of about 2500 people and has/had a median household of $71,898($73,498 for Black households, $72,062 for NJ) according to 2010-2014 census info. There are nearby block groups in adjacent tracts that have a substantial to pluralistically more Black percentage and higher median household incomes.

The closest I've seen in regards to the Seattle area is Census Tract 026001 in eastern Bryn Mawr-Skyway, which is in between/straddling Renton and south Seattle. Its black median household income according to 2010-2014 information is/was $67,054($68,969 for the Seattle metro for the same time and $67,750 for the tract). It is 24.55% Black out of 5,630 people.
