Using the Mason-Dixon as a guide (which there is a lot of debate surrounding that as to whether it truly represents the divide between North and South today, and for good reason), Maryland would be considered the geographical South but not the Southeast. Culturally it has some Southern influences, mainly in the more rural areas, but most consider it a mid-Atlantic state culturally and geographically.

Speaking of that I saw the funniest thing the other day when I got to my grandparents house in Victoria. There was this guy with a gigantic muddy pick up truck and a confederate flag bumper sticker speeding by the house blasting Z-Ro. So I guess some of them do know about that

I don't think I laughed that hard in a long time though.

I love hip hop from the 90's. I cant stand all this garbage now that is "hip-hop." And yes, I drive a truck, I'm conservative, I like to fish, etc... but I'm not like one of the guy's that goes around saying the N word or anything like that.

NC or GA best guess would be NC since they have water (at least as far as I know,GA had rationing for a while) and the research triangle

Florida will regain its stature as the retiree capital of the southeast as its population will will outgain every state in the next 10-15 years, it will take time but for right now Florida needs a cooling off period.
