I'll admit that Houston has tons of bars. It has lots of strip clubs too.

Cheetah lounge is a well known strip club here in Atl.. oprah had one of the dancers on her show. The lady had a master degree and was a teacher she was making double striping at cheetah lounge. The only bar I like to go too in Atlanta is Slice, dougans and Wet willies.. I more of a club person..

For anyone interested in the local music scene in Atlanta, this link provides a decent overview:

Atlanta Concerts, Atlanta Music, Atlanta Shows, Atlanta Nightlife | Music | Creative Loafing Atlanta

Strokers, magic city, pin ups, are popular for African Americans, Cheetah lounge is popular among caucasins.. There are several gay strip clubs and strips clubs for women.. Atlanta is the strip Club capital.. I think the difference what sets the cities apart is the energy level of the cities. Like MIami and New Orleans, Atlanta has been known for a long time for its nightlife.. For straight and Gay americans..

Yeah, they look very similar.

This has been our leading alternative paper for years. They don't provide a totally comprehensive look at everything going on, but they do give you a pretty decent "feel" for the local scene.

Stop by Tow Rows in the Rice Village the Wednesday after you turn 21. The have dollar draft beer that's brewed at the bar every Wednesday. It's some of the best beer I've ever had and it's only a dollar a glass. Anyways, I have a Nigerian friend who's really into the Reggae club scene here and from what he's said, it sounds like we have a pretty good Reggae scene but I can't speak from experience.
