Fort Worth developed a larger urban core before both cities sprawl with tract housing After the 50s.
I think the bottom line is that both these cities are overshadowed by their big brothers (Dallas and San Francisco respectively). Yet both are unique to them and both have lots to offer. Not to mention both are criminally underrated.
How are they criminally underrated??? As in they have low crime rates? If that is the case than SJ is a whole lot safer than FW.

Yea, Ft Worth has pretty lights on their buildings..
San Jose lights up the map period.
Dont get me wrong, Dallas/FTW and Houston are my preffered cities over the entire south.
Miami is included in that opinion..
But the bay area? come on.. this is the Technology capital of the country.
San Jose is beautiful.. its expensive because everone wants to live there.
I'll let you know how many earthquakes its had in the next 20yrs.
Let me know how many tornadoes Ft Worth gets in the next 6 months.
Its amazing to see 3 major city skylines from one location..

NO I never said that there were no urban developments that took place after the middle there the century, but most of the development after middle of the century is sprawl in both cities. In that case the urban development that took place after the middle of the century plus the urban core development in Fort Worth that developed before middle of the century, Fort Worth is urban more.
