Both cities are very similar in the lifestyle. Which one do you prefer to live in and why?

Hm, I bet 0.001% of C-D posters have been to South Asia before.

That said, I would take Mumbai because I feel like it would be slightly less third-worldish than Karachi.

But of course I'm part of the 99.999% of posters who has not been to either.

I've been to Mumbai several times. From what I know about Karachi, it is nothing at all like Mumbai in any sort of way. At all. Forever.

The vast majority of people on here have never been to either place. Having said that, Mumbai will probably win a popularity contest because it's seen as less terrorist-y...as in it's in India, not Pakistan.

Mumbai's population is higher though. Karachi has more beaches.
