Both of these cities are known not only countrywide, but worldwide for its shopping. Which do you think has the better shopping overall (not just for clothing, but for furniture, among others)?

Las Vegas is not really known for shopping, Miami is more known for that specially to the people from all over latin America that stop here just to shop.

NYC is known for shopping as is LA. But to stay on topic, Miami seems to be a better city to shop at, because I have friends who to to both and they always talk about how they shopped and went to the beach in Miami, and just say they visited casinos and stuff in Vegas.

Vegas is way cheaper than Miami... my cousin was there on February and told me the outlet malls were nice and cheap... also happy hour is super cheap compared to Miami

Vegas IS known for shopping. Perhaps that's a west coast reputation that hasn't moved east yet?

I was stunned at the amazing shopping Vegas had and the only place I really looked were the Forum shops - I'm sure there's more to it than that.
