Reading comprehension, remember? Check the thread title.

Well, you guys are the ones who responded to me and put it off-topic.

These are some of the nicest looking suburbs. It's not even in the city and we have about 4-5 parks within walking distance and free town pools that the kids can walk to, plus some of the best maintained/safest neighborhoods. I honestly think the older suburbs look nicer than the newer ones, but Las Vegas suburbs are an exception.

I did look at the rest of the block and saw a bunch of 60+ year old homes. Some had been updated, some not so much.

Being this thread was about pretty suburbs and new subdivisions Levittown does not qualify.

What is your fascination with trailers? This thread is not about them.
You can always start a new thread.

"Where are the prettiest suburbs/ new subdivisions in America? "
Most of the homes in there are over 60 years old so the new subdivision is out of the question and while that home may look nice right next door you have this.

Yes, a serviceable home but could hardly be called pretty.
thx for posting! I wondered what the surrounding homes might be like and thought they might not be as nice as the updated one. Now I see how odd this looks.
And, yes, the thread is about burbs, or subdiv. so context is needed.

Someone posted that homes in the South don't hold up. We have strict building codes here and are as protected as we can be in the context of the threat of a Hurricane. We've had a couple of hurricanes pass thru our area, but most of the damage is know to be caused by flooding. Of course if you are on the beach, then you are hit full force by the wind. Again, all depends on location as to damage amts.

back to the prettiest subdiv. there are many in Raleigh. Here is one in the burbs in the $300k-$600k range, it is a custom homes community. I watched them building them, nothing cheaply made here.

Then we have Wakefield with a golf course, townhomes, and going up to mansions such as this for $3.5M with 15,600 sq ft

The nicest-looking suburb I've seen is Ladue, MO. It's an inner-ring suburb of St. Louis. Lots of mansions spread out across a wooded area. There are a lot of new homes, but none of the neighborhoods have a cookie-cutter feeling. To me the town felt like a ski-resort town with all the trees, hills, and snow (because I visited in the winter)

Even the shopping center is nice, German-inspired I guess

Beautiful Suburb of Orlando would be Clermont, FL. It is a hilly western suburb and You can see all of Orlando, Disney and the skyline from the highest point! When it is foggy, it's kinda like your driving in fog since elevation is higher than that of Orlando's.

Well, apparently someone else thinks it looks nice, so who cares. Your opinion is just 1 opinion out of the 70,000 who live in my town and apparently like it

LMAO, take a look at these houses where you live. You really think these look better???

Yeah alot of hill in Clermont. VERY Californy(for lack of a better term).

Look At these neighborhoods in Clermont, when you look at these neighborhoods on these hills, you'd never think it's Florida.

And the UPSIDE is, these neighborhoods are right outside of Orlando, within the Orlando metro area, not some far flung country area far from civilization. When you look at these neighborhoods and you look at a place like Miami, it makes you think, Florida is not as homogeneous as people think.

Clermont is nice but not what it used to be. It's so overbuilt. In some neighborhoods, all you see is rooftop after rooftop and it begins to look just like another typical, new construction neighborhood in FL.

Most people outside of St. Louis don't know about Ladue and Clayton; they are gorgeous.
