People keep saying Philly is older than Atlanta well Philly is older than Chicago and Los Angeles as well what goes that means? We live in the present not past Philly had more recognition, Atlanta 2010 is. This is about recognition not about which city is denser, which has a better quality of life or which city you like the most.

I mean these are facts
Atlanta is top covention city and philly not Top 10 host cities of conventions
Atlanta is in the tenth most visited cities and philly is not. the_ten_most_visited_cities_in_the_united_states.
Atlanta beats Philly in the number of new international residents from 2000-2009 www.city-data.com/forum/city-vs-city/new-international-residents-gained-2000-2009-
Atlanta ranks highier as a global city "The World According to GaWC 2008

How much do they think a rural population 100 miles from Atlanta can add to Atlanta Airport and etc for Atlanta to get an extra boast? BosWash is over 50mil that competition people state has it’s own population and identity so what is taken away from Philly? Yeah Atlanta has no competition and there also no population either. Yeah Baltimore has it’s own International Airport and Baltimore also has the population for that, B-more is not robbing Philly. It’s still Philadelphia International Airport serve Philly and Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport serve Atlanta. There are less Airports around Atlanta because there not a population for it, there nothing around to boast and etc, and Hartsfield is still busier. End of the day Philly vs. ATL, there more hotel rooms in ATL than Philly and etc facts.
Great job on the facts and an excellent. Post, I think Atlanta is gaining ground on Phily, but I still think the history of Phily is what catapaults it to the international spotlight. When you think about the history of America, you have to mention Phily. The same, as of right now, can't be said about Atlanta. But that may not mean a whole lot, especially considering the facts you brought up.
