Dallas is building an new hotel called Omni Dallas Convention Center Hotel 23 stories 1000 rooms set to be completed in 2012.

That building looks massive, so its hard to believe that it only has 1,120 rooms, esp. compared to the Hilton Americas in Houston which has over 1200 rooms but it's only 24 stories,and relatively compact, I think.

According to the hotel website the rooms are very spacious, I think that is the reason the hotel has a low number of rooms.

The new JW Marriott in Indianapolis is 34 stories with 1,005 guest rooms.

Great location and views plus an easy walk to downtown, inner harbor and Fells point - really great property! stay there often on weekend get-aways
