This is basically my answer. I prefer 4 seasons.

Extreme heat like where I live can be hard to deal with sometimes but then again it has it's perks vs. cold areas- no shoveling snow, no driving on black ice or in inclement weather, no putting on multiple layers just to go outside, no getting snowed in, shorts and flip flops are more comfortable and affordable than heavy winter coats and boots, and hot days mean lounging by the pool whereas to me cold days mean being holed up inside.

The reason I love the summers in Seattle is because it's warm, but not brutally hot.

Being a Minnesotan where I live in the coldest damn state in the Union, I would take hot. I loved being in San Diego in February and wearing shorts and a t shirt with the palms waving.

It disgusts me seeing dead trees and snow frozen so cold that it's a layer over everything-sidewalks and streets, parking lots etc.

But, I'd take my Minnesota summers over anything.

For me its the other way around. 15 is unbearable, 95 is just above average.

Hot/warm weather cities/states. Too bad my state is only semi-hot/warm (half of the year).

I live in North Texas, we have some crazy weather! It could be 70 degrees and the next day it could be snowing! In the spring it is very cool not,hot at all. In the summer it is HOT 90 to 100 degrees. In the Fall it is cool, but in the Winter it is COLD 40 to 15 degrees.

Football players have been known to die of heat stroke, but it's unheard of them freezing to death.
