New Jersey is much better from late August to late May......if you don't believe that just ask everyone in the tri-state area who had to shovel out from 6 feet of snow this past winter !!!
It's not that I like the cold better, 95 degrees sucks just as much 15 degrees, but I much rather have 4 seasons. Too much of one type of weather such as Florida or SoCa is just not for me.
Extreme heat like where I live can be hard to deal with sometimes but then again it has it's perks vs. cold areas- no shoveling snow, no driving on black ice or in inclement weather, no putting on multiple layers just to go outside, no getting snowed in, shorts and flip flops are more comfortable and affordable than heavy winter coats and boots, and hot days mean lounging by the pool whereas to me cold days mean being holed up inside.
Being a Minnesotan where I live in the coldest damn state in the Union, I would take hot. I loved being in San Diego in February and wearing shorts and a t shirt with the palms waving.
It disgusts me seeing dead trees and snow frozen so cold that it's a layer over everything-sidewalks and streets, parking lots etc.
I live in North Texas, we have some crazy weather! It could be 70 degrees and the next day it could be snowing! In the spring it is very cool not,hot at all. In the summer it is HOT 90 to 100 degrees. In the Fall it is cool, but in the Winter it is COLD 40 to 15 degrees.
Its a proven fact its easier to do physical activity in heat than it is in blizard conditions. You really think its easier to play football in a blizzard? are you kidding? are you afraid of sweating? do you think its icky? you obviously dont know much about real sports.
Football players have been known to die of heat stroke, but it's unheard of them freezing to death.
