See when I'm up NY, people seem to know where I'm from because I always get this "he must be from DC" look, samething happens in Bmore too, excect they give an even harder stare. Like I had on the nationals fitted, solbiato hoodie, nike boots, and evisu jeans. Thats straight dc hood gear right there.

This video probably shows the best of how NW DC cats dress.
Evisu jean in 2010?

To be fair, I haven't read back very far in these posts. I do think, however, the people you're describing, in these last few posts anyway, are not fashionable trend-setters. I guess I think of those with money - what they wear while working and then what they wear when they're out for the evening, or a day off. I don't know where thugs enter the equation, when discussing fashion.

The 90s were a horrible period for fashion... and we're still being affected 10-20 years later.

One thing that I find laughable is that people in Washington, DC think that they set trends fashionwise, which is hilarious to say the least. Although D.C. and Philly and Boston might have their little nuances of fashion, it is New York who breaks the mold and dresses the best.

I often bring back a NY fashion to the Phila area, and people look at me like an alien - NY is most definitely the frontrunner, and the classiest U.S. city when it comes to fashion.

This is so boring. Everyone is choosing the largest metroes in each region for best dressed.Just cause Houston or Atlanta are large metroes does not qualify them for best dressed.

I`ve been the major cities in the south and for the most part the only large metro that really stood out was Miami.Other than that I have seen better dressed women here in Mobile,Al than I have seen in Houston. I`ve also seen more women that are dressed well in jacksonville,Florida than i have seen in Atlanta.

The threads on this site tend to get a little boring every one is favoring the major metroes I have nothing agaisnt them but come on ! That does not put them in the best dressed category, lol.

LoL, the tight jean fad in 2010 is stupid and the baggy jean fad isn't out of style. Well, it's not out of style in the south and maybe the midwest that's for sure.

I still wear baggy & loose fit jeans in 2010 but I don't sag.
