Why are there tons of choices for CA and one for NY? It's obvious that CA would end up getting more votes. If CA gets different sections, the OP should have made categories for NY, like adding NYC, NYC suburbs downstate, western NY, central NY, northern NY.

Agreed it wouldve made it more interesting aswell to see where people on here would rather live in different parts of NY vs different parts of CA

Anywhere in California by far. I love the fact that it has more than one big city and each city has a different feel.

Lived in both states for long periods of time. It would be a very difficult choice.

The only thing that really separates them is the weather.
