I used to go through Cumberland on road trips from PSU to Morgantown - I always thought the town was cool straddled by mountains and think the Potomac
Plus it is in that little sliver wher MD is only like 3 miles tall with PA on one side and WV on the other
You had some nice routes haha.
Western Maryland is very underrated! It's such a beautiful place full of history. Cumberland is kind of depressing though- the economy is horrible there (or atleast it was, IDK about now) I really like Frederick and Hagerstown.
