Lakers came on strong in the 2nd half and buried the Suns. Much better bench play by the Lakers than what was expected. The Suns can not be taken for granted but by winning 128 vs 107 the Lakers took the first game decisively.

They were saying how the Phoenix Suns are a better team defensively this year. Well they certainly didn't play anything resembling good defense tonight. When you give up 128 points to the Lakers you will lose every time. This looks like the old Phoenix Suns to me. Where was the better defense? Wherever it was, it didn't show up tonight.

Looks like the Suns 6 game run was stopped by none other than the Lake show!

Too bad I am here in the Bay Area right now (where its cold and rainy...) I'll be back in my home city to truly cheer them on. I can already smell a victory parade

Hopefully Game 2 will be better. I mean, the Suns usually have a high shot percentage. I don't understand what happened here.
No kidding, huh? I'm wagering the Suns WILL show up for the next game.

Calm down. It'll show up next game.

Good luck today

I was driving around yesterday, and saw almost every other car was donned with the Lakers flag. So many band wagoners, eh?

I hope Amare isn't too affected by his mom's arrest yesterday in Scottsdale.

Much luck to him (and I don't mean that in a bad faith type of way). I really want the Lakers-Suns games to be good!

Looks like the Suns turned it on again

It will probably be less than a 10 point game by the time this one is over.

LA does have an NFL team, they just play 350 miles north in Oakland.

Lakers take another game decisively. I don't think the Suns will allow a sweep but the odds are running against them right now. Like Orlando, the Suns are facing tough prospects to turn around the conference finals. It can be done however.
