No, I don't think they are. I have always felt the same, as do many, many others.

6.NYC has ugly architecture
7. other then that it's an ok city

Why Chicago is better
1.Chicago is the best bang for the buck city
2.Chicago has America's tallest skyline
3.Chicago has beautiful beaches
4.Chicago has beautiful archetecture
5.Chicago ppl are nice
6.Chicago is also a big crowded busy and dense city like NYC, only difference is that Chicago is better! Chicago is a NYC UPGRADE!

chicago has more crime than ny has by far.
chicago is smaller, much smaller than nyc.
chicago has a problem with teens dying every weekend in obscene numbers.
chicago has a very large gang problem.
chicago is nowhere near as dense.
chicago's basically known as the other city. the one thats not ny.

it is what it is. you're a puerto rican? you'd feel more at home in ny than chicago. lol @ this foolishness.

leave manhattan and visit the other boroughs.

there's no comparison. nyc is unrivaled. so a lot of ppl feel differently. that doesn't mean that those ppl are not a minority.

There are tons of Peurto Rican pride parades in Chicago. The west side (including Humbolt Park) has a very significant Peurto Rican population and thriving Peurto Rican culture.

Just like New York, Chicago is a major American metropolitan city... Moderator cut: language

I have seen the other boroughs, and have actually lived in Brooklyn for a time.

You need to visit L.A. And yes, there IS a comparison to be made.

You really need to travel more.

While I do like Chicago better than NY, you really cant call NYC more grimey than the Chi.
Maybe 20-30 years ago yes, but NYC is no where near as grimey as Chicago. I feel super safe when I visit my dad's people up in NYC, cant say the same when I visit my moms people in the Chi. lol...NYC cats look like well manicured pretty boys compared to those dudes running around Chicago...lol. But thats why I like Chicago better, its "realer" to me than NYC...

first off, you need to watch your mouth, son.

i'm not one of your children or your mother. you can talk like that to them but you will not talk that way to me.

my screen name is EEK. don't call me out of my name.

second, you should learn how to spell your own nationality/ethnicity.

maybe if you weren't so hateful you could spell properly.
