first off i'm not "shaking with rage" or being defensive. like i said in my last post, the truth is the truth. if you are saying something incorrect and i'm knowledgeable about whatever the topic is about then i'm going to post the truth.
if you don't like that and you want to call it being defensive or say that i'm "shaking with rage" then that's fine. i really don't care what you think. i think you and the other dude that keeps pming me are clowns but i'm sure you don't care what i think.
as for why the thread was created, why don't you ask the OP? how about you get naturalurbanbalance to stop pming me and have him pm the OP and then pm you his reply?
That was the only thing I said about you in this whole thread. And only the first sentence was directed at you, I didn't even know you posted the whale watching thing when I replied to it. So....sorry you feel that way.
You can legally gamble in Fargo in both bars and casinos. You can't gamble in NYC.
Wall Street is the ultimate casino it is a gambler's paradise. Then there is Empire City Casino in Yonkers, Mohegan Sun Casino in CT, the Freeport Casino Cruises and I believe a couple more on Long Island and definitely in NJ. I also bet on horse racing all the time.

21. The Hudson as Fjord - NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation (http://www.dec.ny.gov/lands/25988.html - broken link)
Although something about "by this definition" makes me think it's debatable.
I was once taking my Norwegian relatives on a drive and as we were crossing the Tappan Zee they commented on how nice the "fjord" looked. Since they are Norwegian sailing enthusiasts who grew up on the coast of the Oslofjord, I'll take their word for it

I, for one, am glad there aren't palms. Palms are associated with year long heat and humidity and giant cockroaches. I'll take the 3 months of heat and humidity and tiny cockroaches that NYC offers.
I think many NYers are thankful there aren't palms and brutal humidity.
And about the giant cockroaches--my daughter and I went to the local waterpark here in Naples last week when she was visiting. She kept noticing roaches in the water and on the pavement in the park. I told her the roaches here are worse, because they FLY too.
